We’ve formally made the shift on the website to ChewSoft LLC,. We’ve had the paperwork done for quite some time, but now that things are really rolling, it’s time to transition everything over. We’re still waiting on Apple to formally make all the changes on their end. Apparently they are in no hurry.
In the interim, I’ll be keeping the old domain name (www.drewborland.com) and support email addresses.
We’ll be releasing Symbolism 1.1 and Triple Card Poker 1.5:
Symbolism New Features:
- Personal High Scores
- Sound
- Bug Fixes
Triple Card Poker:
- Scoring Fix (players getting over paid in certain instances)
- Stats Module ‘Hands Won’ fix
- New 10k chip
- Added alerting when play be can’t be covered
- Various other smaller items
I haven’t posted in a while…and that’s a good thing because I have really been busy working on existing games, as well as creating a new one. The latest installment is called Symbolism:

Also, there a bunch of releases for my other games coming down the pipe….stay tuned.
It was a busy busy holiday season for me. Luckily, amidst all of the football and food I was able to get a lot of good work done on the game front. Of note is the latest version of iCanSketchIt (www.icansketchit.com), which now has double the levels. I also finished up another poker game (details coming soon…).
On the card game front, I have great news for Triple Card Poker, Ride It Out Poker and Ultimate Poker fans! I am finishing up creating an ‘Personal Stats’ module that will work with all of the games. The goal of this module is to track things like ‘Best Hand’, ‘Total Hands Played’, ‘Total Hands Folded/Played’ etc. I really think that most card players are people who are numbers oriented, so this ‘Stats Module’ will hopefully bring another dimension to all of the card games. I am putting the finishing touches on adding it to Ultimate Poker, with TCP and Ride It Out soon to follow.
Finally, I’d like to thank all of the people who have helped out submitting bugs. The grading algorithms for poker games can get a little hairy, but with a little help, I think we have most of them ironed out.
If you’ve ever been to Vegas, you’ve probably seen Ultimate Hold’em Poker. A couple people recommended that I write it for the iPhone…so here ’tis. Hope everyone likes it. As always, let me know what you think.

Busy busy busy…Here’s a list of the upcoming minor changes that will be released over the next few days (depending on how fast Apple approves them). All of these are fixes/changes requested by customers. As always, emailing me or leaving comments on the blog is the best way to get new features in the games, and I always appreciate the feedback, good or bad.
iCanSketchIt v2.3
- Added quit button that will allow users to easily quit the game without having to exit.
- Added a ‘Reset Personal Scores’ button in the settings areas
Colorblind v1.5
- New version will have a much bigger thumb image on the RGB Sliders. This will make it easier to grab/touch.
Triple Card Poker v1.2
- $1000 chip added
Ride It Out Poker v1.4
- $1000 chip added
Ride It Out Poker v1.5 (Thanks Kelly!)
- A-2-3-4-5 Straight will be recognized
- The game will be altered to be ‘pull’ based. Currently it is push based. It works the same, but I’m going to attempt to be a little more authentic to the Vegas experience.
It was beginning to look like it could be a long long winter for Beer Finder (A.K.A Drunken Haze and Beer Goggles)….but Apple redeemed themselves and graced us with their stamp of approval on the very PG-13 Beer Finder game.
Here’s the iTunes link to Beer Finder
Ride It Out Poker has been released to the App Store…actually…I just submitted version 1.2. Sorry for the delay on getting it up on my blog.
